Racism Free Edmonton

As part of the City of Edmonton’s Racism Free Edmonton project, and in partnership with the Centre for Race and Culture, Zenev Education Consultants has designed workshops to be delivered to senior leadership within key public sector organizations, youth, and employers in the private sector.

The training will provide essential knowledge, skills and strategies to allow leadership to identify issues of racism within their organizations, and to provide strategies for addressing these issues. The training will provide tools to shift organizational culture where necessary and to facilitate positive institutional change. The training will also provide an opportunity for participants to work together to meet their commitment to applying this knowledge to their own institution.

Workshops have currently been delivered to trustees, principals and senior administrators within the Edmonton Catholic School District, Edmonton Public School Board, Edmonton Police Service, the housing sector and private sector employees.

• Design of learning curriculum to provide approaches and strategies for addressing racism in key sectors and institutions in the City of Edmonton (justice, education, housing, employment).
• Delivery of learning curriculum to key members of institutions who have the capacity and position to influence change within the institutions.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Workshops

We deliver workshops through the Centre for Race and Culture's Cultural Crossroads program. These workshops provide strategies for small and medium sized businesses to help them respond to the diversity in their business environment and to create inclusive and equitable workplaces.
